The Larned Methodist Church will celebrate its sesquicentennial (150th) anniversary in 2023 with several special celebrations. Congregation members are encouraged to participate in these events as we commemorate this important milestone in our church's history!

This will be a special time to praise God, give thanks, be in fellowship, and reminisce on all the memories from the past. More information will be announced between now and September to congregation members. Be sure to watch the church newsletter for updates as the date approaches.
FUN FACT: Originally the Larned Presbyterians and Larned Methodists shared a building for worship. Places of worship included the Santa Fe Depot and Carpenter Shop. In 1873, the two societies agreed to erect a building on Main Street. The building was 24 ft by 50 ft. Then in 1877, the Methodists sold their interest in the building for $400 and started worshiping in Toles Hall.
