Join Us in Larned, Kansas
Welcome to the Larned United Methodist Church
Our church desires to bring together our community in both fellowship and service to impact those around us. We invite your family to join us for Sunday services, as well as other opportunities to learn and grow throughout the week. We are located at 701 Main Street in Larned, Kansas.
According to "The First 100 Years" booklet, "Methodism in Larned dates from the first sermon preached here on the 20th of September, 1873, by Rev. A Hartman." We celebrated Larned UMC's 150th anniversary on September 23 & 24, 2023.

Our Vision
Making Disciples Through God’s Love and Grace: The Larned United Methodist Church is actively growing as it reaches out to families, and in mission to our community and beyond. Whether it is helping a person with a small project including roof repair, putting in a wheel chair ramp, or joining with the community in “Impact Larned”, we seek to make a difference. We act in small ways – putting together 20 flood buckets to help hurricane victims, 26 Christmas Child boxes, setting up Christmas decorations, providing a meal and workers to help after Pawnee Rock was hit by a tornado, and collecting food & serving at the local food pantry. Each summer we host summer meals for the kids in the community. We step out in faith so that everyone will know that they are loved. Each of these ministries help us grow in our faith and courage to dream of bigger ways to serve. If you are looking for a community where you can serve and grow in your knowledge of God’s love for you, here is a place for you.
